Editorial Reviews:

Description
On January 23, 2010, the 2010 Northeast Rebreather & Advanced Diving Technology Workshop was widely attended by commercial, scientific, government, and technical divers, as well as engineering students. The event was organized by Ocean Opportunity Inc., and hosted by the University of Rhode Island's Center of Excellence in Undersea Technology (COEUT).

Five speakers (Eliot Danner, Mark Munro, Jeff Godfrey, Dave Sutton, and Chris Cooper)offered presentations on a wide variety of advanced diving topics from training to configuration, to the future.

This 3-Disc set of Video Proceedings provides a permanent archive of the following presentations.

-Disc 1-
:: Introductory Remarks | Michael Lombardi
:: Rebreather Training & Instructor Selection | Eliot Danner

-Disc 2-
:: Rebreathers, the Internet, & a Decade of Collaboration | Mark Munro
:: The Evolution & Future of Rebreathers in Scientific Diving | Jeff Godfrey

-Disc 3-
:: Offboard gas selection for CCRs including configuration, design, & assembly of related hardware | Dave Sutton
:: Lessons learned from historic (Sealab, Tektite, etc) Habitat programs and future dive systems proposed | Chris Cooper

Many thanks to Ocean Edge Outfitters, Rebreatherworld.com, and Benthic Blue Productions for supporting the event.

All footage was collated by Michael Lombardi. Theme music from the collection of Kevin MacLeod.
