Product Description
Swimming goggle.

Amazon.com Product Description
The best-fitting swim goggle on the market, the Aqua Sphere Seal swim mask was first celebrated by Ironman triathletes, who praised its comfortable, watertight fit and easy-to-adjust buckles. However, these high-quality features soon became apparent to fitness and recreational swimmers as well, who use the goggles for swimming, jet skiing, surfing, and more. The Seal mask sports a dive-quality silicone skirt that's snug and secure, along with a patented curved lens that provides 180-degree peripheral vision without distortion. In addition, the Plexisol lens is protected by anti-scratch coating on the outside and an anti-fog coating on the inside, so you can easily see other swimmers in the water ahead. Finally, the mask is guaranteed to block 100 percent of the sun's harmful UV rays. Add the features together and you have a mask that lets you concentrate on your workout and not your equipment.

The Seal mask is available with two lens types: clear lenses, which are designed to provide the greatest visibility while swimming indoors or in low-light conditions, and tinted lenses, which are better when swimming outdoors or in bright light.

About Aqua Sphere
Established in the mid-'90s, Aqua Sphere has done more than any other company to improve the world of eye protection for swimmers. Aqua Sphere has been responsible for such products as Seal, the first swim mask featuring 180-degree vision, and Kaiman, the first panoramic goggle. Based in Vista, California, all Aqua Sphere eyewear is made exclusively at the company's facility in Genoa, Italy.

4 out of 5 stars Good Swim Goggles   July 8, 2010
E. Jones (Illinois)
These are good, lightweight and reasonably durable swim goggles. They don't squeeze the eye like conventional, small oval-lensed goggles, and are very comfortable. These clear goggles do not provide the sunglasses-like protection of the mirror or tinted lenses, but are better for low light conditions and do allow better color recognition. Note that these are swim goggles, and *not* a mask for snorkeling or scuba diving - they do not cover the nose and cannot be equalized for pressure at depth.

5 out of 5 stars Great swim goggles!   June 12, 2010

I LOVE these goggles. I swim in a pool and in the ocean for about 5 hrs a week. These are so much more comfortable than regular goggles and gives you a much better area of vision. I highly recommend them. This is my 4th pair.

Our family was going on a Disney Cruise vacation to the Bahamas and I needed goggles for all of those underwater activities. I wear contacts and wanted a pair of goggles that would give me a good seal and a wide range of vision. These goggles fit the bill and were very comfortable to wear. I would purchase this type again and plan to buy some for my daughter in the near future.

5 out of 5 stars Great Mask   January 9, 2010

Seals around the face well, no water came in at all. The tinted lens helped out as the pool I use is very white and sometimes the glare from the lights overhead make it very bright. I have had issues steering clear of other swimmers in the lane. The tinted lens cut out the glare and even sharpens pool features. Great buy!

5 out of 5 stars Great goggles for both open-water and pool swimming   December 24, 2009

I usually have a tough time getting a good seal with goggles, but these are very comfortable and don't leak. I've warn them for pool swims and in the ocean for a triathlon and have never run into a problem. I am not trying to break any speed records, so I can't comment on how the larger size of the goggles affects my speed.
